I see individuals of all ages, couples, families, and lead support groups. Our work together will include traditional talk therapy as well as EMDR, guided imagery, relaxation techniques, art, journaling, or sand tray work when applicable. My experience includes trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, physical illness, relationship conflict/growth, and personal growth counseling. I enjoy providing Christian counseling in Georgetown, SC and other areas via video therapy
About Your Therapist
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I work from a Christian perspective integrating faith and positive change. My practice, Hope for the Future Christian Counseling, LLC, is located at 2501 North Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC. I believe we are made in the image of God and that he loves us all. Because of that belief, I take a holistic approach that includes body, mind, and soul; however, I allow the client to set the pace and determine whether or not they want to include faith aspects in our work together. I am trained in EMDR therapy and often integrate emotion focused therapy and attachment therapy in my work.

The treatment focus is to help individuals, couples and families heal, grow, and become aware of their inner, God-given strengths. As we work together as a team to achieve this, I will provide a neutral, safe space for you to share your concerns. Together we will develop a customized treatment plan.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, you and I will work together to help you recover motivation, perspective, and hope for the future.
Trauma, PTSD, & Grief
As individuals, we all experience a variety of symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. Together, we will work to help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationships
Relationship Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. I provide premarital and marriage counseling with couples and offer a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
